Oversees the design, technical
implementation, and support of a large portfolio of software products,
automation processes, enterprise systems, and integration efforts supporting
all of Johns Hopkins Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). Leads large-scale
projects, which may include those requiring multi-disciplinary coordination and
significant vendor collaboration. Responsible for the technical approach, UI,
UX, scope, and system performance of the entire software portfolio. Embraces a
Servant Leadership style.
Works with the Executive Leadership
Committee, Associate Deans, Directors, and Development staff to ensure
customized strategic and tactical directions are aligned with their business
needs, and support DAR’s strategic plan. As a member of a senior management
team, contributes or leads planning to achieve organizational goals by
prioritizing initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and
management of current and future technologies.
Current responsibilities include managing the
direction, technical implementation, user experience, system performance and
data analysis of the Johns Hopkins Online Giving and Events platform. Lead role
in managing the institution's Donor Management System built on the Oracle
platform. Co-chair of the IT Governance committee. Management of various web
properties and portals that support the mission of the department and Alumni.
Key contributor to the overall project vision and implementation of 10.5 million dollar enterprise IT project to deploy a new donor management system with Master Data Management strategies, Data Warehouse, and CRM implementation being key deliverables.
Due to my high performance I was
nominated to participate in the JHU Executive Leadership Development Program
for 2019/2020. This program is designed to build self-awareness and the ability to influence
others, as well as to navigate the organization and skillfully lead teams. The
Leadership Development Program each year brings together a diverse mix of about
35 faculty and staff from across the university.

administration, conducting employee annual reviews, and various other
leadership administrative tasks.
During
my tenor, directly involved in development, project management of over 100 IT
products of varying sizes some of which were +1 million dollar budget projects.

was my personal business that provided graphic design, interface design, and
web application (web site) development for the local area of Baltimore
Maryland.

Joined
the Baltimore Sun website team to assist in developing creatives for their
advertising sales team. Ad banners, and web sites were designed to be
delivered on the web site. It is here I became expert in design tools such as Photoshop.
